50 years have passed since Hakushon and Akubi left little Kanichi and returned to the Land of Magic. The magic bottle was sent into a 100-year-slumber...or so we thought.
Now the year is 2020. Kanichi's grandson, Kantaro Yodayama lives in Tokyo. Kantaro hates hard work and spends his days trying to weasel his way out of it. One day, a mysterious bottle is delivered to his house...bringing Hakushon and Akubi to present-day Japan, along with a new character, Akubi's little brother Puuta…
