It is the year 2075, and along with the boom in space travel, there has developed a new, unique job: the job of collecting space debris. The Debris Division is a group of misfits who seem content with their place in life, but Hachimaki is different. He’s been doing this for four years, and he puts up with the low pay and lack of respect because he has a dream of owning his own spaceship. But when the new rookie named Tanabe arrives, full of enthusiasm and energy, he has to re-examine his plans.
