The story takes place in Yoshiwara, an underground city where the sun never shines. The place is controlled by a terrifying warlord called the Night King, Housen, who keeps the courtesans trapped, never letting them escape. One day, a boy named Seita shows up, begging for help to save his mother, a legendary courtesan who’s still imprisoned in Yoshiwara.

Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi decide to help and sneak into Yoshiwara, but they quickly realize they’re in way over their heads. Standing in their way is Housen, a ridiculously powerful Yato warrior - so strong that even Gintoki, one of the best fighters in Edo, doesn’t stand a chance. Things get even worse when Kagura’s Yato instincts kick in, turning her into a dangerous, unstoppable force, and she starts attacking everyone, including her own friends.

Can they defeat Housen and save Seita’s mother? Will Kagura be able to control herself before it’s too late?
