Yucie is a girl under a spell of enchantment, which gives her the petite stature and appearance of a 10 year-old, but who is actually 17 years old. Despite such misfortune and the gap that sometimes occurs between her mind and body, she remains an innocent girl with unwavering dreams and a positive outlook.

As one of the chosen candidates for "Platinum Princess," selected only once in a millennia, Yucie begins her studies at the Princess Academy, where not only she and other human girls but also female beings from different worlds learn how to be dazzling young ladies. Amid hopes of becoming the supreme Her Royal Highness, many of the students explore and try out several jobs in the local town to learn more about others as well as themselves, while also searching for mysterious objects that hold the keys to the secrets of the worlds to which they belong.
