Hiyori's first day at high school becomes a nightmare for her when Yato possesses her body, after she unintentionally slips out of it upon falling asleep. He uses Hiyori's body to his advantage by doing all sorts of embarrassing and over-the-top things to spread word of his services to the other students, with Kofuku joining in on the fun. Yukine tries to get Tenjin and Mayu to help put a stop to Yato's antics, but they too end up getting distracted. As Hiyori struggles to make Yato return her body, she and Yukine spot a perverted student, who sneaked a camera into the girl's changing rooms, and discover he has been possessed by a phantom. When the student attempts to jump out of the window upon being discovered, Yato manages to rescue him and subdue the phantom, but ends up breaking his (Hiyori's) shoulder in the process. As such, Yato is caught and given an appropriate punishment whilst Hiyori begins her next day of school with a bizarre reputation.

Keita has two older step-sisters, Ako and Riko, but since they aren't related by blood, they love him in a lustful way. After a mishap at school, Ako and Riko finally confess their love to him. Keita dislikes the thought of seeing them other than brother and sister, but as he tries to enter the same school as his sisters, he slowly becomes attracted to them.

Suguru wins some tickets to Okinawa in a shopping mall lottery, so the whole gang plan to go on a trip there. To prepare for the trip, the girls practise being on an airplane and go to a convenience store to buy some travel things. Meanwhile, Renge is very thoughtful about how the trip may change her view on the world, spending the evening before the trip giving her farewells to the countryside. The next day, everyone sets off on their flight to Okinawa.

One day, Kon, desiring to become a stronger familiar, transforms into a human form and ventures off into town. There, she encounters Kōji's younger brother, Shiro, who had ran away from home after getting into an argument with Kōji, who told him he couldn't play fireworks with their mother because of her work. Kon ends up having to put up with Shiro's selfishness, until they are both found by Inari, who had heard about the situation from Kōji. After quickly deducing Kon's identity, Inari accompanies Shiro to the supermarket where his mother works, with Shiro becoming upset when he sees her mother being busy and running off yet again. Wanting to defuse the situation, Inari transforms into Shiro's mother and offers to play with fireworks with him and Kōji, only to find the reason he was crying because he realised he was bothering his mother at work. In the end, Shiro plays fireworks with Kōji and Inari, before their mother manages to sort out a shift change to spend some time with them, whilst Kon learns something from her experience.

They are thrilled by stories from PAXA's astronauts about the wonders of space and the possibility of Pokémon living in space. Then, just as they hear about the dangers posed by space debris, sirens suddenly ring out. Team Rocket have plotted to seize control of PAXA and have apparently infiltrated the facility.

At that critical moment, trouble develops in a control system for artificial satellites. Large pieces of space debris have collided, causing fears of even more debris.
